Hi Guys,

I received my EAD card yesterday. It looks like it was approved on 7/16/02(As it says valid from). I didnt check the AVM.

AP approved and received

Finally, AP approved for me and my spouse on 06/26/02, received from lawyer today on 07/23/02. It feels like I'm the last one among the March filers to receive the AP approval.

Talked to IIO

Today I had talked to the IIO and this is what she had to say:

1. Regarding the status of my AOS application: All checks have been completed and all the Investigative reports have been received on 7/23/02.

Now the file is pending to be assigned.

2. Regarding how long it might take: She said that a decesion may be sent in a couple of months or even earlier.


Hope this would lift up some spirits for waiters like me.

When I spoke with IIO, told me it's pending, thinking that it is pending for more information. Your thread helped me in knowing that it is ready to be assigned

EAD approved. But it says card has been ordered, it will take 140 to 175 days to process it.

Is the message is same for all EAD applications.

Just checked the AVM. EAD was approved on July31st.

AOS msg still says "On blah we mailed you a notice to appear
for fingerprint..."

EAD msg says nothing about ordering cards? Or is that only for
folks who already have iEAD?
