<<2002 APR MAY JUNE>> CSC I-485 Mailers (from 07/08/2002)

need your advice 485 gurus.

I am doing CP and my date is likely in August(case is in Chennai)

My 485 was sent on 06/27 to CSC by lawyer who felt it is better
to file AOS as job situation was not sure.
Now my main worry is will the CSC try to retrieve the file from consulate before August end ? what is the normal time period that CSC takes to act on the file ?

question about iEAD

I plan to get iEAD for my wife, but I wonder if there are any fee for that? ( my lawyer suggested to bring $120 with me )

I am not sure if this is random but I do see that people with dates much later than mine have received their FP and EAD!!!

I do see lot of people who filed in like may have got FP notices.. I wonder how this works..


one thing i just want to clear here for those people who visit RFE thread and may get confused here as in RFE thread i have posted that my green card has been approved after RFE. so whatever i post now a days is about my wife i added late to my application (after i took my fingerpritns i got married and added her).

we got her advance parole also after RFE..

no EAD no FP yet!

It looks like whoever applied in the last week of april haven't recieved FP Notice.People who applied in may and even june have got their FP's . Could you please let me know what should I do to expedite in getting FP.
