I-485 Originally filed with VSC in July 2003
Name check cleared in 2005

Case Transferred to TSC in Mar 2007
I changed address in April 2007
2nd FP done in May 2007

No approval. Anyone in such a situation?

TSC is not using PD to complete cases. Any case that is current is being prioritized based on 485 RD. They worked on 2004 RD for some time, my guess is now they will work on 2005. You should be getting your approvals soon now that name check is clear.
 
Similar case here, except I never got a second FP notice.
Also, no LUD since 03/09/2007, when the VSC->TSC ship arrived at TSC.

Even I'm in the same boat. Not sure whats happening. But I have seen in the same forums that people with PD in 2002 ( including one of my friends) have got approved and also people with RD of 485 later than mine got approved.

I am in too, I think there might be a flood of approvals in the coming weeks but not sure on what criteria the approvals would be.

I made a congressman enquiry and found that my name check has been cleared and my case is pending at the office for someone to pick up and approve.

marooned42 - similar to yours, though my PD is 2002, 485 RD is Jan 2004, FP1 Nov 2004, VSC-TSC Xfer Mar 3, LUD 3/9/2007 NO FP2.

Though someone mentioned seeing 1 approval with outdated FP, not holding my breath on that...

I 485 -
RD 08/2004
AD (want to fill this date asap)

2 FP.
Last FP in 04/07

Address Change in 02/07 (Got letter from INS confirming address change)

VSC --> TSC on 03/07 (No LUD since then)

NC, FP and all the security chk are cleared
All papers are in order (Came to know thru Infopass Appt)

No labor substitutions or AC21 invoked

Just waiting ......

Address Change in 08/06 (Got letter from INS confirming address change)

VSC --> TSC on 03/07

NC cleared (03/28/07) - as per FBI mail (thanks to FL. mail sent to her 03/15/07. I do not think that her mail helped but FBI did process my wife's name check on 05/15/07.)

Called TSC on 05/22/07 - Asked to wait 6 months after transfer

No AC21 invoked

Simple asked status of my 485 application- She looked into the computer and said everything looks fine.

Then asked her - is my finger print cleared - She replied that she can see that I did finger printing in 04/07 and they are cleared.

Asked her politely againg - Wether my nc and other sec check cleared - She said everything is cleared. She even mentioned some date for Name Check, when it got cleared but does not remeber it.

Then asked the same questions for my wife. :)
 
Details in the signature, took an infopass last week, got to know my case is stuck in background check, the immigration offer refused to discuss anything further. :(

I didn't see any updates on my case yet :confused:

I have infopass appt on 18th this month. lets see what they say ?

Twise called TSC and got 2 different answers 1, may be security pending
2, FP is expired.

i didn't see any pattern for approvals .

Add me to the list guys.I haven't received a Second Fingerprinting yet.Not sure when that will happen.It's totally frustrating to see they approve cases with PD 2003 and we are still backlogged.There doesn't seem to be any justice here.

My PD is also July 2001. I think VSC - TSC transfer cases are really in bad shape. Every time I call I get a different answer. Not sure how they are gonna handle 20000 transfer cases.
