Did you know...

Today, and each business day, USCIS will: process 140,000 national security background checks; receive 100,000 web hits; take 50,000 calls at four National Customer Service Centers; adjudicate 30,000 applications for an immigration benefit; see 25,000 visitors at 92 district offices; issue 20,000 green cards; capture 8,000 sets of fingerprints at 130 Application Support Centers; welcome 3,000 newly naturalized citizens; greet 100 refugees; and help American parents adopt 100 foreign children.

Sounds more like a wish list for Santa...and he's real .

Here's a slogan "Fire lazies,hire desis, prompt GC's."

:) ok,apologies for the weak attempt at humour ,getting a bit too frustated here

Impressive data but I'm not impressed!!

Impressive data but I am not Impressed!! There's just more people applying for Immigration benefits so better hire more people or hire efficient people.

impressive; however...

Yeah.. it really showed that they work so hard for everybody.

However, the frustrated part is that they did it randomly and that creates unfair.

I do feel happy for the ones who suddenly get their greencards even though the notice date is so much later. However, there are lots of people who are waiting undefinitely for their long-due notice date. It is stressful.

If USCIS can work more in organize way, believe me, the numbers above can be even doubled or tripled. Most of all, cost effective!

Issuing greencard may not mean adudicating new cases
it could be new stamps new cards.....etc etc....
this is a right claim but does not apply to 485 waiters
