2 prior extensions

My parents have been visiting us every other year since 2000. We have applied for extensions twice for my father and once so far for my mother, and they have been approved. My parents have also gone back within the specified date on the extension and have not violated any visits.

I am now faced with a situation where I need to apply for another extension. This is about 2 years after they last applied. My question is, how does this affect their future visits? Does the IMO keep track of the number of times appplied or the nature of stay as in violation of stay etc when reviewing their entry and stamping the I-94. Since this is going to be the third time applying for my father, will this jeopardize his next visit?

I am pretty sure there is some sort of record of previous extensions filings and approvals. I would not neccessarily assume that an extension this time around will surely cause issues. If the extension application warrants an approval, it will be approved. An I-539 refusal does void the applicant's visa. You make the call if the risk is worth it.
Good luck!!!

Since it has been sometime since they got an extension they are not violating the idea behind B1.

But if they apply for extension on each stay here then that might raise a red flag for their next visit
