Just made an info pass appointment for my wife for passport stamping.

The appointment informaiton page asked to prepare 2 PHOTOS with a remark as "2 required if temporary card is necessary..."

Just wondering if just want PP stamping, are 2 photos necessary ??
or the photos are actually for biometric ???

Many thanks!

If your passport is going to expire soon, they'll stamp a card instead of your passport. They'll glue a picture on the card.

------------- take 2 passport photographs at the time of passport stampning and her EAD, AP and I-94, I-485 approval notice and infopass

Thanks but still confused

Thanks for replies !

But still confused whether 2 phtos are required if no temporary card is needed ??

You are right, thanks

Was lazy only because PP-photo store here opens only on work days, and didn't feel urgent to do stamping :p

Anyway, will ask my wife to take off this afternoon ...

Regarding the bit of text you quoted, I can't remember the exact wording, but it something like "... 2 required, if temporary card is necessary [then 3 are required]". One photo is for your green card, one is for their records and if your passport expires in six months or less then one is required for the temporary card.
