2 H1B at the same time

My friend has two H1b now.
He still work for first employer , but second employer helped him to apply for second H1B three month ago.
This second H1B was approved last month, and the second employer decided to look for other candidate, unfortunately.
My friend decided to keep his job with first employer, not to go for this second company.
What and where he can do with this second H1b ?

If he does not take up the job within 60 days(from approval date) then he foregoes the second h1...

It has passed the 60 days .
But the first H1B is going to expire at Feb, 2003.
The second one is from June, 2002 to June 2005 .
Since he decided to stay with first employer,
Does he continue to work under first H1B and renew on Feb, 2003 ?
without any trouble ?
