Hi All,

Just want to share my experience and see if anyone else is in same situation. I filed my I-487 on July 20th for myself and spouse- Nebraska service center. I got the receipt notices on September 18th.But both 485 receipt notices are for my spouse and one of them has her first name mispelled. I did not get my receipt notice so I'm assuming the one with mispelled name is mine. Also her 765(EAD) receipt notice has the same spelling mistake. I called up USCIS and they said they will investigate. My lawyer said they had seen such mistakes a lot recently.
Did anyone had a similar experience.

Thanks

Recently many receipt notices have mistakes that were filed in July/ August

Ginnu,

thanks for the response. The A# on both receipts is different and both of the A#'s are not matching with the A# on the approved I-140.
Also is it advisable to travel abroad in such situation. I have a valid H1B stamp on my passport.

Thanks again.
