140 RFE and EAD

I had applied concurrently for 140/485/EAD in 2003.

But I got an 140 RFE which held up my EAD. Now, we have replied for 140RFE.

So, do I have to wait for 140 to be approved before I can get EAD or I can go for Temp EAD?

WIll VSC send my EAD before they take any decision on my 140 case?

Could you please give the RFE details and how it was addressed?

When an RFE for I140 is issued it seems EAD/AP are kept on hold until I140 decision is made. Also interim EAD could be refused.

I guess you have to wait until the RFE issue is resolved.

Some feel there is no link between them. You will know first hand if you try for an interim EAD.

My case is just like yours, i check the web site today. for my I140 they send REF. I don't know the details about the REF. I need to check with my attorney. I applied my EAD on Dec 2003. I didn't received EAD also.

a little change... i got RFE on EAD not on 140


i replied on march 2 /// No replies yet

( RFE detail ::::

passport copies and driving license copy - - - which i have already sent .. and they need again ... i dont know why).

In my I140 case RFE was issued. How many days it will take to reach my attorney? Because i need to reply the RFE immediately my EAD will be expired by 04/28/04. i am using EAD now.

around 7-10 days from the date status is changed on Bcis website
