140 Revocation?

I heard that 140 can be revoked by the employer after its approval even after the completion of 6 months of filing of 485?

Reason cited is that 140 belongs to the employer and he can ask for the revocation. And 485 could be denied on the reason that 140 is revoked. This nullifies completely the benefit of AC21. You are now once again at the mercy of the employer.

Anybody ever faced this situation of 140 being revoked after its approval ,well after 6 months of 485 filing(i.e used AC21)?

How do we know that 140 has not been revoked?BCIS may not let us know this info as it is between the employer and them.We may be in dark about its revokation?

Thoughts?......?

As per the postings in this forum, i guess it really does not matter if the 140 is revoked 180 days after filing for 485.

I am not a lawyer, but I am almost certain that your employer cannot revoke anything without informing you of the fact. If they do not inform you, you can probably sue them for some few million dollars for keeping you in the dark, wasting your time, energy, damaging your health etc. With a few million dollars, you don't need a GC. You can go home and relax and not worry about your future (isn't that why we all want this hara patta - its a faster ticket to a better future in our short lives).
Not to worry.
