140 pending- family emergency-travel

my friend had family emergency so, he went to India and he would return after 5 months.

his 140 and 485 are pending

he is on h1b and would go for stamping.

will there be any issues for his GC processing? and/or H1B stamping?

any help is highly appreciated

Don't see any issues as long as he was maintaining h1b status, make sure he keep previous tax documents (Income tax returns) and current pay stubs when he go for visa stamping
