140+ days since I filed N-400 but no interview letter yet

I got my biometrics about a month after filing, then I received the yellow notices about the requested documents fir the interview, but no interview letter yet. Is it normal to take over 140 days for an interview letter? I submitted a request online and was notified by email that I would receive a response by December 12th but never did. Is there anything that can be done to accelerate this process since my husband is looking for a job and can't commit to out of state jobs before my naturalization issue is concluded. Can we move to a different state and request the interview to be done in that state instead?

You can check on USCIS website the processing time of your local office. Usually N-400 takes 6 months or so to process.

If you move, you are required to report your new address to USCIS, and then they will arrange your interview in the new local office.
