140 approved, How can I change to CP from AOS?

Hi Gurus,

I have got my 140 approval and thinking of going for CP in India. During my 140 application, my lawyer didn\'t mention anything CP or AOS. What is the process of going for CP from here? Do I need to file for I-824 and AC-140 before NVC sends a Packet III to Delhi consulate? Is I-824 filing and Packet III a parallel process?

What is better AOS or CP timewise?

Any inputs will be greatly appreciated.
