140 Approved atlast....(485 still pending)

Just received email that my I140 has been approved. No updates on I485.

I140 RD: 3/14/03 , AD: 10/7/04
I485 RD: 4/25/03
FP: 8/8/03

congrats, wait for couple of hours you'll get your 485 too if you have completed all the formalities.

You are right.....

After 6 hours, got emails about my 485 approval....

Got the email at 8:00 PM....Not sure if the officers are working overtime to clear the backlog....

Did you send any letter from senator or congressman to INS?

yes I did

I did contact my senator (end of Aug) and they responded that my file is ready for adjudication and will be requested and forwarded to the adjuducation officer.....

So may be that triggered my approval... ( though it took long)
