140 approved after RFE

I am back here after long time to update my status. Finally my 140 got approved. Here are the details.

Concurrent filer - EB2
ND: 09-23-2003
LUD changed on 05-17-2004
RFE issued on 06-16-2004
RFE on my education. USCIS thought that I have only three-year degree even though I have four-year bachelor degree.
RFE reply received on 07-07-2004
140 approved on 07-23-2004

I am not sure about my colleaguys who had been issued RFE after LUD during the same time as mine.

Is there any Difference about 3 year degree and 4 year degree? Both are Bachelor degrees.
Please can anyone comment on this 3/4 year degree

Nag234: In US 3 year bachelors degree is not recognized for Immigration poit of view as bachelors degree.

I read lots of approvals with 3 year bachelors degree in this website.
My friends with 3 Year got approval.
Is that 3/4 year degree related to LC filing also.
 
I have applied on EB2 category and my Labour petition says that the
applicant needs have a US bachelor degree or its equivalent which is
actually a 4-year degree in India.
I know it is very unusual for any one to get RFE issued on this issue. I was very unfortunate.

Nag234,

Generally people with that appproval show a combination of 3 year degree plus a number of work experience to make it equivalent to a 4 year degree which I said earlier is a requirement.

Thanks. Looks like you are so cool about your RFE. Whats your lawyer doing
still? Urge him/her to make it fast. I would suggest you to involve in the
process along with your lawyer and review all the documents and send it.
I can't wait to see your approval. All the best.

How about other bunch of guys in our group?

Believe me I am worried but what good will that do. I got an RFE on edu eval. I have 3 year + dipl. apped under EB2. Lawyer is doing 2 edu evals and submitting it. Not much I can do except wait. I think from our time Manoj too has not responded to RFE. Right ??
