140 approved,485 REF

Hi,

Need some advice.

My 140 has been approved and received the REF on 485 regarding the medicals on 27th Dec 2004. I have answered the Query and it would be reaching by 29th Dec.How Long would I-485 take to get approved after answering the queries.with the retrogression,how would be my case,Does it fall into retrogression or not.

---only USCIS officer can inform you, i think you should wait 15-20 days for the update

with the retrogression,how would be my case,Does it fall into retrogression or not.

----- it depends when your LC was filed if it was filed AFTER jan1 ,2002 and it is EB3 and you belong to INDIA, china then delay of I-485 approval, if LC was filed before jan 1, 2002 or you are EB2 case then no problem at this time

my LC was filed in Aug 2002.And my file goes to retrogression as per the cut off date.
My concern is as it is REF,are there any chances of processing 485 in such case.

--NO chance after 1 jan if they wish they can approve before Jan1 or you have to wait till your PD and it is expected that PD may move after April 2005 ( not offical info)
