140 & 485 LUD changed GURU's Please respond ASAP

Hi,

On March 3rd 2005 I aplied for my EAD renewal and on March 9th I enquired about my 485 case status which I applied on Sept 12th 2003.

My 140 has been approved on April of 2004.

On April 6th my renewal EAD has been approved. LUD's for 140 and 485 has been changed. When I see the 140 message it says

"Our last written notice in this case was returned as undeliverable by the post office on April xx, 2005. To update the mailing address so this notice can be re-sent, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283."

Why they opened my 140 after it is approved ??

485 one says
"On March xx, 2005, we responded to your request for more information concerning your case. If you have not received our response within 30 days from this date, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

I haven't received any mail till now.

What they are going to ask me about this 485 query !!!

gurus please advise

i had my family name/surname added to my name my bc shows my name without the surname. has anyone had this kind of an issue.
please advise UN/lohith or anybody what kind of rfe if it might generate or this is of no concern.

NJ, seems like u moved and reported a change of address..they prolly sent confirmation for taht on ur 485, that's why the msg


custody, updating personal info should not be of any concern
 
Hi NJCGC,
Did you file your I-140 and I-485 together? After seeing your post, I checked my I-140 status just for curiosity and found the same message there.
My I-140 was filed in June 2003 and approved in April 2004 and later I used I-140 approval notice to file 485. Currently I-485 had only 1 LUD after we gave finger prints and the message says they recieved the results of FP.
I-140 status msg says
"Our last written notice in this case was returned as undeliverable by the post office on September 21, 2004. To update the mailing address so this notice can be re-sent, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283."
Instead the message should say that it is approved in April 2004.
Is it something we have to worry, I think the applicants address for communication comes into picture from I-485 stage and we have not changed address after filing I-485. Am I worrying too much about this?
If anybody knows better, please advise.

140 case GURUS pls respond

hi WantGCIn2005,

I applied my 140 and 485 together. When I talk to the customer service about my 140 case they are saying they can only talk to employer. I am kind of scared what's going on !!!

For 485 case they are saying wait for 30 days if it doesn't come then they asked me to call so, that they will send me back again.

GURU's please respond to my 140 case.
