140/485 applied passport renewed

I have filed 140/485 concurrently at VSC which is still pending. My minor childs passport(PP) has expired now and i have got it renewed. Do i need to inform VSC about this PP renewal? Do i need to fill any form for that? If yes would appreciate any help on this.Thanks in Advance.

Dont have to inform anyone. When the next application to USCIS is made by you, you will have to fill out the new pport #. My passport expired after I filed for 485 and got 1st EAD. The next 2 EADs and APs were applied with the new passport number.

If you attny is thorough, he will put both new and indicate the old one as well in the app. form.
