14 years old problem?

I plan to file our I485 within one or two weeks. The problem is that my daughter\'s 14 yrs old birthday is at the end of this month. When we sign and file the 458, she is under 14 yrs; but when the INS receive the forms and notice to us, she is probably greater than 14 yrs old. What is the standard the INS counts the age? Another problem is that when we do the fingerprint, she will be greater than 14 yrs old, so she should also do it. How do we pay her application fee and figerprinting fee? Could you please give me some suggestions?

Thanks!

Reply to bbf question. 14 years problem.

Hi BBF,
One of my friend had undergone this. His daughter was 13 years old when applied. So only parents went for FP. But when the daughter turned 14, INS has sent an RFE asking her to go for FP. They did and got the GCs now. My friend mentioned me that, it is possible to include the children\'s name who are about to be 14 years old. Please check up with your attorney.
