1099 on EAD

Hi,

I have just received my EAD and would like to know if it is possible to work on 1099 using the EAD, or do I have to work only on W2.
If possible then are there any disadvantages of working on 1099.

Any pointers/advise would be very helpful.

helpmeimmi,
you can work either way you want. In 1099, you will have to care of the taxation part, which is a pain to handle sometimes unless you are incorporated...
