1099 - MISC -- Income report on Tax refunds.

Hi there,
Im expecting my interview some where in the aug/september time frame of 2004. in my current tax year, i will have some 1099-MISC income that will be reported. Will that be an issue when going for the CP interview ?
THis is only in the year 2003. Will that have any effect ?
PLs let me know.
 
You should report all incomes in your tax return regardless of your status. If you do not report your interest income IRS can come and get you and it will have negative impact on your CP.

Your H-1B visa entitles you to work only for the employer authorized by INS, but you can make money by investing, lottery, gambling etc.

I concur with thanickel. IRS requires you to report all income. For cp interview purposes carry your tax transcripts which you can get by calling 800-829-1040 plus your w-2
