You are right. That is my guess too, no specific reason.
"Wouldbecitizen" just posted his interview experience in Milwaukee : N-400 application sent in December 2003, interview March 22, 2004, i.e. about 3 months, whereas in Arlington you will have to face a 13 month waiting period for the interview and possibly 3 to 6 more months before oath (120 days seem to be the rule).
Just hang in there and don't think too much about it.
