$1000 fee applicable to 7th year extensions?

Hi all,

I want to know if the $1000 fee is applicable for applying for the 7th year extension even if you have already applied for an extension with the same company earlier? I recently applied for the extension of my H1 and the company paid the $1000 fee. I am now in the process of applying for the 7th year extension and my lawyer indicated that the company will have to pay the $1000 fee again!!

I don\'t think so

My lawyer filed without the $1,000 fee. And the application was accepted, it was in 03/2001.
