10 month administrative processing??

My father applied for a B1 visa 10 months ago, and is still under administrative processing. Is it possible that it is taking so long? Has anyone had similar experience?

Very much possible. I have known cases where it took more than 12 months. A lot depends on your father's citizenship and how common his first and last names are.
