Hi guys, I have an interview coming up next week. I'm looking for some help.
I come to this country as a f1 student, then h1b visa, out of status in August this year. I know there's some sort of "apply within 1 year after you come to this country", but I also heard if you have kept legal status, you are still within one year status.
Guys, anywhere I can find the statement in any law or act? I would like to take it with me when I go to the interview. Because I herd not all of the immigration officers are fully aware of this situation.
