1 or 2 emails, what should they say?

Gurus,
this is a great forum and I ask for your experience:
sometimes we get 1 email, sometimed 2 per case - why? I have seen many approvals for I-485 stating 4 emails received, and normally it was a petitioner+derivative(spouse), so 4 emails per 2 I-485s...is that true?

How about emails about EADs/APs???

My news:
Strange e-mails about EAD!!!

On nov 15 received (2 emails for 2 EAD applications, was 2nd EADs for spouse and child, I use H-1)
On November 15, 2004, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready.

on Nov 18 (7:15am), received DUPLICATE e-mails (4, two for each of 2 EADs):
This case has been approved. On November 18, 2004, an approval notice was mailed.

Anyone has same experience? What is right e-mail for EAD approval, looks like 1st one? So what is the 2nd one??? Maybe means they mailed the card..?

what about e-mail for APs? I did apply for AP and EADs before but I was not subscribed to e-mails at that time...
 
Don'y worry about the number of email you get.

Typically you get 2 emails for the same action. I guess, USCIS email mechanism is also sc****d up as the center itself... :)

You are right. 2 per each case.

My experience says it is true for EAD and AP as well.

Nothing to worry about. It happens so almost in every case.

Since now you are registered, you should get the same type of email on approval as for EAD. Doesnt matter if you were registerd to be notified by email when you filed for AP.
 
Not sure why they send duplicate mails...screwed up system in the most advanced country in the world...
 
i am telling the truth

the truth is that the INS staff do not know exactly know how to use emails, nor do they know the difference between 1 and 2

So who cares, as long as you are approved.
