It was asking about all the documents related to my legal status like I20, EAD, H1B1, etc...

BTW, how many copies of the original I485 approval notice they will send out? Is that gonna be one to me and one to my attorney? Thanks...

I believe two copies are sent, org to attorney, and courtsy to your addr.

you may use ur copy for stamp. and get org form ur att in ur records.

Courtesy Copy

Does it specifically say somewhere courtesy copy ? I have received my approval notice and wanted to know what is the difference between courtesy copy and approval..Thanks!
 
I received two copies (exact the same) for myself and one copy for my wife (derevative beneficial).They all don't say "courtesy copiy". I don't know whether my attorney has got one. I called 2 days ago and they said no. I used the notice getting stamps done last Tuesday.

Out of two approval letters, on top right hand corner "I-797, Notice of Action" should be Main copy and the one reads "I-797C, Notice of Action" should be courtesy copy.
