062 Second RFE Sent :(

Today I saw on INS web site that they have issued 2-nd RFE on my case (and my wife's). That's really sad as I replied to the first one on April 12:( Here is my situation. My original company for I-485 case is A. I have changed 2 jobs (companies B and C) during I-485 wait and I replied through company C (the one that I am working for right now) on the first RFE. I was wondering if someone has had similar experience... Could they ask me to provide information about company B in this case? Why would they issue a second RFE? Here is the info for the first one:

EVL, 3 paystubs, W-2 for last 3 years.

RFE issued: Mar 19 /04
RFE received (by me): Apr 1 /04
RFE replied: Apr 5 /04
RFE received (by INS): Apr 12 /04

WAC#: 02062xxxxx

I would appreciate any input here...

Post all the info related to ur GC

Please post all the Notice/Receipt Dates and FP dates and also EAD and AP Dates.

When was ur 140 applied and approved?

When was ur 485 filed?

What did they ask in the first RFE? (All Details Please)

Did you send all the info requested by BCIS?

Here are the details:

I140 - applied Apr 2001, approved Nov 2001
I485 - applied Dec 2001 (ND: 12/13/01)

1-st RFE:
EVL, 3 paystubs, W-2 for 3 years back. AC21 was also included because I changed the original employer.

I sent everything listed in the RFE.
 
Me and my wife also got our 2nd RFEs within a month of replying to the first one.

It is related to our repective resident address. They want a confirmation.

CIS morons sent all our EADs,APs and 2nd FP notices to the right address but still sent a RFE about it.:mad:

No worries, AC21 does not put any bar on the number of companies you change after 180 days are up. They cannot ask you for any information about Company B. As long as your basic job profile hasn't changed and you are not on state dole.

10x for the input. I will post the details about the second RFE once I get it from CIS. My current company (C) is stable one and I provided EVL from this company when I replied on the first RFE. Hopefully the second one will be something stupid like address confirmation or similar, because I recently changed my address (different state). It would be hard for me to provide information for company B any more:(

Your wife got an RFE too? Perhaps it is not employment related at all. Why would they issue an RFE to her with regards to ur employment? Could it be marriage certificate?

It's weird, but when I got the first RFE, the status also changed for me and my wife on the web site :confused: to RFE sent. Then after some time (10 days or so), before I even replied, the status for my wife changed to RFE received... We were kind of confused, so I called these guys at National Service Center (the phone on the web site) and asked them that's going on and they told me not to worry because their online system sometimes showed wrong status...:confused: :confused: :confused: (not that I didn't checked the status on the phone, which was the same, but anyway). So now we have again the same situation as one month ago, when they sent the first RFE. Only that this time, I have no idea what they could possibly ask for...

140_takes_4ever said, there are no restrictions on the number of times u can change jobs. So the RFE is probably for something trivial.

Strange are the ways of BCIS!
 
Not sure it will be a marriage certificate RFE, specially since the primary applicant received it too. Usually MC RFE's are issued only to the dependent. It is probably a address change thing.

Well offcourse all this is speculation. You should be receiving the RFE soon, do let us know how it turns out. :)

2-nd RFE received

Finally 2-nd RFE received. For some weird reason, INS did send it to the old attorney - 10x god I still can get in touch with him. So here it is (simple one):

2 GC photos for me and wife (probably the ones we sent with the application were not good enough).

AND THAT'S IT!!!

Hope to post some good news soon... (but let not embark the dogs too soon...).

Make sure your new lawyer has filed G28, ask him to do so again while replying to this RFE, you want to make sure your "APPROVAL NOTICE" is sent to the right place! 2 ADIT pictures are an EASY RFE! :)
