Dear friends,

My case was approved yesterday but the on-line message was not changed and I checked with AVM. My wife & son case also approved.

Meantime I applied Advance parole for my wife & son. My wife AP was approved on Apr 8th and I got the RFE for my son. I sent the AP RFE details on Apr 24th and still it was not approved.

RD: Not updated and approval is pending.

I sent through FedEx but it was not reached so far.

My questions is :

Is it going to effect my son's GC stamping?.

First let me congratulate you.

Secondly, its not going to affect your son's GC stamping. Normally, they will cancel the pending AP applications, once the AOS case is approved. Check the case status before you go for GC stamping. If the status doesn't say about cancellation, just inform them that there is an AP pending for your son and give them the case number. They will cancel that process.
