I am not sure the procedure, I think it depends on the office. If I were you, I will try my best to attend the interview. Do whatever they tell you to do. I will never know what happen if you cancel or reschedule the interview.

writing is useless I had the same situation before. I sent them thousands of letters, they never replied. They won't make exception to anyone. They process the application according to the order they came in.

No big deal All EAD E-file applications are processed in National Benefits Center no matter where you live. You are fine. Don't worry.

You don't need the EAD if you have actually received the GC. Too bad you just spent $175 for nothing, but it's good to have your green card.

case in NBC AP is not mandatory, you need it only if you want to travel outside the US. Anyway, did you apply 485 and 130 through marrying US citizen? I turned in my application in oct 2003 and the case is still in NBC. Haven't heard from them yet. I have the same message as you do.
