Hey,
I'm currently on my H1B with company X and want to tranfer to company Y. The only catch is Company Y will file for the the transfer next Monday and they want me to start working on Wednesday. Can I start working legally for company Y before the the receipt from INS is received? Or is it...
Hi,
I am currently employed full time by my employer on a H1B visa. I want to start and run my own business. I understand that I can currently only be a passive investor. So I intend to file for another H1B visa for operating my company. If I'm not mistaken, I can work part time on a H1B. If...
After 9 months of being on F1 status, you can apply for Curricular Practical Training (CPT) which needs to be authorized by the DOA (Your school Intl Dept). W/ a CPT you can work part time for 20 hours/week during regular semesters and upto 40 hours during summer.

Is anyone aware of an estimate of finling an H1B for the 2005-06 Quota (this year) under the new updated laws.
Correct me if I'm wrong:
H1B filing fees: $1500
Fraud prevention fees: $500
Premium processing fees: $1000
Lawyer fees (estimate): $1500?
Total: ~$4500?
Thanks,
NIhal
