How would they know that you "really" did not mail the AR-11....I guess USCIS does not acknowledge receipt of your AR_11..

Try going even before 1/12/10 and explain them your reason for doing the FP before your due date. I had my FP date for 1/5/2010 but since I was going to be out I completed it on 12/24/09

I had recently done PP stamping at Newark and both (me & wife) our appointments were at different times though same day They allowed us in together and the entire process was completed in about 1.5 hrs. Appointment was at 8.30 and we arrived at 8.15 Both of us were out with PP stamped by 9.45 am
