Language Selection Best of my knowledge, You ask for a translator/interpreter when you go for the interview (at least that is the way it worked in the Mumbai Consulate), so when your parents/in-laws go for the interview they should request for the appropriate language translator. Have fun!

There is no identified figure for the Bank Balance but, having about $5,000 at least in a Savings Account helps. If you have CD's etc. that would help too. In any case, higher the better, not that it makes a huge difference but, whatever......
