Me too waiting for approval. receipt date is May 2nd @VSC under regular..new H1-B. ppl in this forum pls specify if urs is a new H1 B or transfer or extension. there is lot of diff. in the process times for all these. Pls keep updated here.

One more related question-- I got the H4 -797 form stating the validity to feb '06 but I did not get the i-94 card with the 797 form. But my husband's doc's are reached. Can I send the only copy of the 797-form. ??Or should I wait for my 797 form with 1-94 card to come?? Pls reply..

Because they mite think that my validity date has expired and I may be in illegal status which is not correct. Is it better to send or will they get our record of the extended status from their database?? How does it work??

Iam on H4....I applying for new H1visa this year. I sent all my papers to my lawyer. But The I-94 is valid upto feb 2005. Also in the "Notice of Action" H4 document. Today we(me-h4 & my husband-H1) got the extension papers with i-94's approved, in which the valid dates are till feb 2006. Now...

within 20 days If you are not in a hurry u can change her name. It is done within 20 days only. For me it took less than 2 weeks. I applied in hyd, India a year back for the same case. I doesn't take too long.
