Strange ! I never heard 140 stuck due to name chk process. How ever my guess is that as your PD april 2001 which is/might be current. So they r waiting for name chk process result and then approve both @ same time. OR may be the officer wasnt expert on 140 and 485 Q's Thx Aj

if u read carefully 'slkrk ' is stuck in I 140. For 485 applicant can find process on its own. thx

its same thing Its same thing. By doing conf u also listen to what officer is informing about ur case . Remember only Employer or HR can talk and find out about 140 with immigration officer and not the applicant.

conf call Well writting letter will help but it will be time consuming. Best do a conf call with usics and HR/Lawyer. Aj

Ask ur lawyer/HR to call USICS to find status on ur case.

I 140 approved ! Guys My I 140 was approved on March 20 2006. My RD was 5/17/2005. EB3 - India . I just can't beleive it . Hope its not a system bug :) reason for all this time i could'nt chk my status and suddently today i can see status . Aj

amazing PPL from April/May/June 2005 are still waiting and this gr8 service center keeps on updating their processing dates. NOW i m 100% sure that this dates are bogus and are going forward to please president to achive his 6 month taks of processing green card. cheers

did u or ur lawyer do any enquiry with VSC ? I did and i was told to wait for 30 days.
