2nd EAD Hi guys, wanted to post that my 2nd EAD has been approved per the 10 emails I got yesterday. I sent the papers by regular mail to VSC - the RD was June 10 and the approval on June 24. No news or LUDs on the 485 - wonder if I am in the name check hole as well. Good luck to all.

Hi.... congrats on your approval. I am in process of renewing my EAD/AP but am not sure where to send the papers. I have a employment based (eb1) 485 pending at VSC and that is the basis for the EAD - should I send the papers to VSC or the chicago lockbox? Thanks for your help!

You may be right. Since, my case is an EB-1, the PD is current and there is no wait for visa numbers etc and from my understanding, if all is clear, then it is a matter of someone picking the file and adjudication. In any case, I should not worry too much! hopefully, it will sort itself out...

hi everyone.... congrats to all the recent approvals. I have been away for 2 weeks and it seems like USCIS has slowed own a little. I am getting very concerned about our cases - it seems many of the newer approvals have FP done dates in 4/05..... we got ours done on 3/17 and no LUD changes...

It is at the appropriate place/station in the processing line. No security flags are up but she didnt tell me if all had been cleared either. Since my case is EB-1, the PD is current and the visa numbers available..... it appears the file is in line for processing. Thanks

thats a good observation - it may be a correct one as well. Each service center has 200 examiners/adjudicators and 50 supervisors..... therefore, any new/more urgent case burden will have to be handled by the same crew and could mean slowing of 485s (among other petitions).
