I've waited 3 months after my PD became current. Numerous visits to local office were a waste of time, they would send you home saying wait. They will send you I181 wit EAC # totally different than one on a I485. Good luck to everyone ...
Do yourself a favor and apply for EAD, in my case it took 3 months after PD become current before I received I-181 and then GC. My trips to local office(2) were tota waste of time. Just wait and it will come ....good luck
First of you need CERTIFIED CASE DISPOSITION ...that is a must for interview.
then depend on original filing of I485 if you answered YES to question "have you ever been arrested.." you don't need a lawyer......if you answered NO then I would consult lawyer.
Hi everyone,
Let's start new thread for all people that had their interview but did not get stamped due to visa # not available for EB3 category. Let's share expierience.
I had interview in NYC office on July 14, everything went ok but I did not get stamp due to visa # not available...
Just wondering if today's London events slow down name check process.
Any thoughts?
Surprisingly today I received re-scheduled interview letters for Jul 14.
How is everybody doing after long and beautiful weekend.
I went to 26 Federal Plaza to pick up my iEAD It was a breeze, took me approximately 1 hour. It is valid for 8 months ( ??)
Stiil waiting for my re-scheduled interview ...maybe tomorrow
Interview in NYC
I guess it was not my lucky day today. We (me and me wife) got in front of 26 Federal Plaza around 8:45am. It was long line outside because Worth St. entrance was closed. Then around 9:20 am whole hell broke loose and FDNY started evacuating building. It wasn’t clear if it was...
Waiting for interview
My FP results came back and to big surprise my case status on line changed to " resumed processing" . I thought that when case is transferred to local office it will never be updated.
Anyway my ID date is 6/29 and I hope I will get approved and dodge EB3 bullsh*t...
Re: bdpmax
Dude,
I would drop your lawyer cold before you go for interview. If you search this bulletin or other immigration sites ( www.immigration-law.com being one of them) you will get your answers.
There is also plenty charity organiztions that will get you legal advise for free.

Hi everyone,
I just finished watching football game and JETS won , it looks like we have a good start for 2005 ( if you are JETS fan ).
This is a year for all underdogs , people watch out.
Thank you for warm welcome.
As far as I140 Vermont speed up processing and I've seen approvals within month or so . What puzzles me is my I485 case transfer , I don't know what triggered it but what realy worries me that if NYC proccess by RD so I have 2 years for my turn.
