But are we eligible..
As Parolees for adjustment of status:
Are we eleigible to receive federal funding (financial aid, grants, training stipends)?
Anyone have a law citation/definintion aside from the one listed above?
Thanks,
Edd.
I had my interview November 2003. In December 2004 I sent an email to the FBI asking for a status check. In May 2005 they replied stating that records show a submission for a name check request was sent by my local office September 2003, but that it was not properly formatted and was rejected...
My lawyer has left the city and "handed" my case to a different attorney whom i have never met.
Am I entitled to a copy of everything in the file?
He has documents I don't have copies of.
Does this new immigration attorney have the right to look in my file?
Can i take the file back...
What is this number?
Is it national or for a specific region?
I need a little clarification because most of our case was handles by our lawyers, who as you may or maynot have read have left the state and are no longer pursuing my case.
Thanks
Edd.
Hi,
I'm starting to worry about the status of my green card application. My wife and I got married July 2001 we filed November 2001 have renewed travel and work permits every year.. had our final interview november 2003 and was told not to worry, the name check will come shortly from the FBI...
Nope
Your timeline is is better than mine:
July 2003 FBI name check sent
November 12th 2003 had my interview
All 8 requests for information have come back with no response from USCIS (or INS back when) just state that my file is 'pending' and that they are waiting on the FBI name check...
