Thanks for the info. It seem transfer to local office will mostly likely delay the process. Got to wait for another 60 days for the file's arrival. and then scheduling. Don't know how long I have to wait this time? :confused: Most likely, for me case, it is because of 3 time fingerprints...

It seems they really delayed your case for a long time. Did you contact senator or congressman? The senator helped me with the status inquery. And after the inquery, they decided to transfer my case to local office. If you still stuck in name check, I guess you will have to ask for help...

i asked an inquery on Dec. 7th through national service center. They said I should get an answer within 45 days. It seems few people can get a response within 45 days. Did anyone ever get a inquery response?

Ask USCIS to send you "request for police clearance in lieu of FBI fingerprint clearance". They should ask you to collect police clearance from all places you have live in the past five years.

I called today and got LUD one hour after. i don't know if they are related either.

My RFE was received on Oct 10. Saw LuD on 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15. and then nothing. Called VSC. they said "it looks it is being reviewed". Hope I can get some good soon. PD is available in Oct.06. 485 RD March, 2005.

What I meant is if, in the past 5 years, you have lived in any places (countries) for more than 6 months, you need get clearance from that places(countries). If that clearance letter is not in English, you will need get it notarized/translated.

I think you do need get clearance from China. Just got it notarized.
