Long time now see. I was away for a few days. In fact, I decided to stay away and wait until October is here. Well, it looks like, October does not mean much for us EB3 applicants. I have a question though. I never paid any attention to retrogession since I did not fall under that...

Your case is a text book example of what should be sent to Ombudsman's office. Please send your complaint as soon as possible to the above address. Good Luck to you as well.
Saras76,
Here you go. Good news for you is that Ombudsman is in fact an immigration attorney originally from India. He has been practicing immigration law for last 17 years. His name is Parkash L. Khatri. Recently, his office has been appropriatly staffed to respond to inquiries like ours...
Dear Saras76,
Long time no see. I have been following your postings regularly though. You were the only one who warned me ahead of time about screw up on my case as well. I didn't want to believe that because I was thinking it will not happen with me. Guess what, it happened exactly the...
Contact anyone you can by all means. Here is what will happen. You will contact the senetor and get the name check issue resolved by October. As soon as visa numbers become available, your application will not be looked over anymore. However, I would recommed contacting local congressman...
I sure hope so. My case was filed concurrently on October 12, 2004. No news on 140 or 485. Fingerprints and name checks have been cleared. I don't think anything will be done before October 1, 2005 on our cases anyways since CIS is out of visa numbers for this year.
Good News for all of you. I am sure by now you all have heard of the updated memo on AC 21 from William Yates. According to this memo, you can change jobs after 180 wheather your 140 is pending or approved. Please stop putting up with these abusive employers and find someone decent to work for.
What if you are accepting another job with the same employer e.g. JP Morgan in another location and 140 is pending for over 180 days? It is guarnateed that 140 will not be touched. You think I should be safe in making this move?
If I may suggest, a good indication would be to buy a lottery ticket, If you win, it will be soon. If not, it will be safe to consider yourself among the unfortunates of unnecessary hurdles queue. As far as I am concerned, I pray for you to be out of it as soon as possible.
My 140/485 were filed concurrently 10/12/2004. My case was sent to Buffalo, NY to speed up processing. I waited 90 days and visited Buffalo office. I was informed that it was a mistake and my case was then transferred to Houston. Houston transferred it to Dallas. Dallas transferred it back...
