Coincidence...I also have dates similar to your's and see an LUD for my 140 that was approved in Apr 2006! I applied for 485 in July, RD Aug. Are you EB2 or EB3?

What is the "expected" dates for the Oct VB? If he is EB2, then probably he'll be OK since the Apr VB was stuck at Jan 2003.

May be you could provide your experience...I was told that if one applied 485 without a approved 140, they might delay the finger printing and EAD, AP etc. Looks like for your the EAD has not been an issue...have you gotten your FP done and AP approved yet? Do you see any connection between 140...

Just don't keep the fingers crossed for too long... ...'cos they may stick together erasing your fingerprints...causing problem during the fingerprinting stage... :)

I'm not entirely sure at what exact stage this "port" happens - a. when you file the new EB2-140, or b. after you just file the EB2-140 based on the PERM LCs PD and then port over the earlier PD when you file the 485. May be st4rguitar can answer?
