My lawyer just told me INS send the interview letter for my 485. My EB3 485 app is still in backlog. So what is this about? Anyone has the same experience? How long does it take to get GC after the interview?

Just got a call from my lawyer told me that INS send out the letter to schedule an interview in August but the LUD message hasn't changed at all. Who has the same experience and anybody knows how long does it take to get the gc after the interview? Or it's just a false alarm?

I consulted with another lawyer yesterday and he told me uscis is not processing any 140 EB3 for those who's retrogression affected. I saw lots of EB2 approvals recently but not lot EB3. Please post if you are from retrogression affected countries and PD when your EB3 is approved.

Is USCIS stop processing EB3 affected countries recently? Anyone whose EB3 filed in 2003 hasn't approved yet please post here.

according to my observation, it usually takes about 20 days to get 140 approved after 2nd EAD is approved. anyone filed around 11/25/03 still waiting for 140?

Please post here if you filed in Nov 2003 for EB3 and haven't got approval for both 140 & 485. How many 140 cases has NSC approved after new year? Really sick of this!

People who waited for I-140 for over 12 months: I checked 2001,2002 & 2003 processing time, it doesn't take that long get 140 approved. Why it suddenly slows down in 2004? Are we being cursed?

Guys: It seems no approval this week. Maybe next week is worse due to Thankgiving. Hope this will get better after Thanksgiving.

it seems like vermont is the fastest processing center for 140 cases.

Just checked immigration watch, from 10/4-10/24 NSC only processed 18 I140 cases. On the contrast, CSC processed over 80 cases. What's wrong with NSC?! :mad:
