    this happend to one friend of mine ......this is what he did ............ this what my friend did .......I hope the info helps contact the consulate/embassy and mention the details in the covering letter , they will renew the passport within 7 to 10 days . you should contact consulate 6...

    you need NOT inform ASC or INS , just do it ! ( FP ) the only way you know is by speaking to the IIO . OR alternately follow up with FBI and find out if things are OK , again FBI will give you only limited info . I hope the info helps Regards AZCOWBOY007
