Question for you guys What is the issue with the SS card. I think my SS card says 'Empployment with INS authotization'. I got my plastic card couple of months ago. What are you suppose to do? Why do you have to get a new SS card? Thanks for your responses.

Hello, I recently checked my case status on the INS website. It says that 'on ...... date we have ordered plastic cards.' My question is , how long does it normally take to receive the actual plastic card from this 'order date'? Anybody has any ideas? Thanks.

Thank you guys... Got the passport stamped on 9/10/2002. (Wanted to do it before 9/11 !) stillwaiting, I never contacted the Mumbai consulate. The NVC dude told me that my file was sent to Mumbai consulate. That was it. I never tried to tace my I-140 files. Good luck.

Anybody used courtesy copy of i-485 approval for stamping? Can one use courtesy copy for stamping or we need the original which the lawyer receives.

Just spoke with FBI... Their records go only up to 90 days in the past. My FP was done in 12/2001. The lady said I should check with INS for my fingerprint status. Any thoughts / comments.
