Officially in NameCheck hell Just called VSC .. they confiirmed that my case is pending NameCheck. I have been in US for 8yrs now. Patnams is right .. the longer you are in US .. the longer it takes for clearing NameCheck. Seems rather unfair.

I am in the same boat. I presume my case is pending Name Check results like many others in this forum.

The whole thing took 2 months. All EAD and AP were applied on 3/10/2005. This is paper based filing. Can't say a thing about E-file .. no clue how that works. BTW check your PM.

Dude.. the presumption in patnams original posting was that people in this forum are familiar with tracker and software terminology. If you did not understand what he meant you could have been more polite and specific in your question, posting something totally unrelated does not serve any purpose.

Thanks. Yes, got it done on 2005-02-26. Message update on 2005-03-09. "On March 7, 2005, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received, .. blah blah"

I-140 Approved Happy to share the news that my I-140 has been approved. Recieved the magic emails at 5:00 PM PST, I thought it was kinda interesting. .. UCIS working overtime, eh? ;) One more step to go :)

I am waiting for I-140 approval too. Keeping my fingers crossed. :( . Earlier we could at least depend on the published dates .. but now thats not the case any more

Anyone see a trend in EB2 I-140 approvals? I can't :-(. A bunch of people who have ND after mine (8/7/04) have got approved. Some people with PD after mine (11/2001) have got approved. I am just wondering ... trying to psyche out VSC, or any other center for that matter, is pretty tough .. but...
