Hi, folks. I recently received I-140 approaval. my H1b expires 6/30/08. (I am in Conrad 30 process and my 3-yr mandatory service ends on 7/7/08). when would be the best time to apply for H1b renewal and reasonable price for this process ? thank you in advance.

I got the favorable recommendation. :) my case was received to the DOS on April 19. and got my favorable recommendation today but letter was sent on May 12. good luck to all the J1 waiver people. i hope you can get yours too, soon.

found a job at the state hospital and my documents are in the DOS now. got a phonecall from clinical director that i should change my sponsor from state hospital to university. the reason for that is they have one spot only through university. but one physician who was sponsored by university...

Took me 4 days to get "received" status in the DOS website in my case, i heard from the WV state that they sent it to DOS on April 15th. and found the change in the DOS website on April 22nd. but it says it was received on April 19th probably because of delayed update. thank you.
