I think no one updates for you. You have to go to the local SSN office and apply for a new card. You need to carry your plastic card with you when you go to local SSN office.

One more to count .. I have received the approval notices yesterday. In fact I have already received my plastic cards a week before.

I think though they ask for so many pay stubs, just submit the latest few (which ever is available, min of 2-4), they should be happy.
