One reason that has slowed CSC down could be the fact that FBI is now working on getting most of the old pending namechecks(waiting since the past year or more) completed.Recently there have been a lot of approvals for people waiting on the namecheck since the last 14 months or more. I did send an email to them enquiring about the status of I-140 and after about half a day I got the I-140 approval and the reply email confirming the approval.Dont know if was a coincidence or if the email triggered the approval.The latter seems very unlikely.

I am not sure what the reason is.Could it be that the fingerprinting that was done in our cases was not acceptable in which case USCIS did not accept it and that we might be getting another set of FP notices to get them done all over again. Again, this is just my thought.
