Actually, what I want to know is whether it is legal or illegal for my company to assign me job duties not mentioned in I-485.

My I-140 was approved 1 year ago and currently I am working on EAD card. Now, my company is planning to send me on a strike assignment (may be for 1 month) which is a non IT related job. So, the job specifications mentioned in my I-485 application do not match with the strike duties.
