My wife entered US 2 weeks ago with H-4 status. But she didn't carry my H-1B supporting documents (My H-1B is valid till August 2006), therefore the custom officer stamped her I-94 with valid period to 12/8/04 and ask her to go to the download office to extend it. EAD approved, but first name is wrong.

My EAD has just been approved. But I knew they got my first name wrong. They put a extra space in the two pronunciation of my first name. What is considered as concurrent filing of I-140/I-485?

My I-140 is filed on February this year, and my I-485 is filed one month later after receiving the receipt of I-140. Does this considered as concurrent filing? If it is concurrent filing, will this benefit from the April-30 CIS memo that concurrent filing will be adjudicated simutaneously...

But I am not very sure about how it is supposed to work, because it didn't ask for I-485 filing receipt etc. Should I mail the I-485 receipt along with the e-filing receipt or wait for USCIS to ask for it, or USCIS will find it...

From my online case status, it states my I-140 filed will take 360 days. But from California Service Center Processing Dates, the priority date for I-140 is "July 18, 2003". Which one should I believe? Can I assume it generally takes 9 months or so?

I am a concurrent I-140/I-485 filer. My company's situation is not stable, therefore I've read quite a bit regarding AC-21 portability, but still not sure about certain things. Maybe some guru's here can help me. First, here is my situation: RD (1-140) 2/23/04 RD (I-485) 3/17/04...
